T . shaped literacy

Our T . shaped literacy was about sea life. I learnt that a whale is a mammal. 
This ad is about whales.

                              

Juicy insulator

Yesterday I used materials to make a thing to keep a juicy cold.
I used polystyrene, a box, tin foil , a white sheet and cellotape. 
My juice was 80% solid after 2 hours in the hot sun.
Mine worked because I used tin foil to reflect the sun.

Last week we did cross country at Bledisloe.

I came 7th or 8th.

I enjoyed the run because it made me fit.

For practice we ran around the field and court 5 times.

I improved in practice my best time is 7.30.

   

                                                                                Project Energize       

Yesterday we went to Project Energize.  I learnt that there are two ways to make hummus and four food groups there are grains,  meat, fruit and veggies and dairy products. We learnt that the worst takeaways is KFC and best is homemade food.  I learnt that e2 has 20 teaspoons of sugar.

Time DLO

2 Weeks ago we learned to tell the time.  In groups we did fun 

Activities.  We made clocks with pins paper and scissors. 

I learnt there are 3 months in a season and there are 600 seconds in 10 minutes.
